IGT's now infamous Addams Family slots were first introduced in 2000, and at the time were almost impossible to find anywhere other than Las Vegas. As most new slots titles do, the Addams Family slot machine quickly made appearances at all the other major casinos in the world, then trickled down through the local casinos. Today, after 10 years on the market, these games are as fun as ever and yet are also incredibly hard to find.

The original Addams Family slots games came in both the full-sized upright banks and the smaller slant top machines. In the early days, almost all of the Addams Family slot machine banks were attached to a progressive jackpot that restarted at a minimum of $100,000. Now, though, it's not uncommon to see single Addams Family machines with no jackpot attached. It's a shame, but no Addams Family online slots have yet appeared; let's just hope that an online Addams Family slots casino is on IGT's agenda.

Addams Family Slots Review

The Addams Family slots are a must-see for several reasons. Apart from a possible progressive, there are four different bonuses (depending on which Addams Family slot machine you find). Market Madness and Pick to Win are the usual random pick bonuses while Fry Fester and Cousin It's Bad Hair Day are a little...kookier. As with most five-reel online slots, to initiate a bonus you need to get three of the corresponding scatter symbols.

We love the Addams Family-specific character symbols which include images of the original cast, the game sounds that feature the voice of John Astin (the original Gomez), and the game's use of the official theme song. Virtually all of the Addams Family slot machines are nickel machines, and since the games only offer nine paylines that means that you can get a shot at the progressive for less than 50-cents.

While we do wish that enjoying the game was as easy as logging onto an Addams Family slots casino, or that some savvy person would at least make some PC-friendly free Addams Family online slots, we can assure you that the live Addams Family slot machine is well worth seeking out.
